According to Japanese tradition, people would write down their wishes for the upcoming new year and leave these tags on the branches of a tree. After a while you'll only see wishing tags! We introduced this lovely tradition into Belgium with the total concept of a wishing tree in a pop-up space in Wijnegem Shopping Center. We made sure to respect all the details of this Japanese heritage with a thorough research about set dressing, the wishing tags, etc. The result was a bustling pop-up space with eventually a tree filled with heartwarming wishes for 2017!
